Germany - Day 3 Part II - Ahrweiler

Ahrweiler is another storybook-like little town that we visited today. The photos, for the most part, are just snapshots of what we saw and require little explanation. Ahrweiler traces its roots back to the 1200's and there are still buildings here that go back to the 1400's. The city is one big marketplace with shops of all kinds. Every view of the city seemed to be picture post card quality....a photographer's dream.

Old wine making equipment.

The old city gate.

Gisela and Sigrid ponder where to go first.

Lars and Georg.

The white asparagus was in season and wonderful.

Left over Easter decorations were still fun to see.

Part III still to come.
