We had to take a break from all the walking in Ahrweiler, so we stopped at an Italian Ice Cream shop (Eis is German for Ice Cream). The menu was 10 pages long and the selections were more artistic creation than simple bowls of ice cream.
A really tough decision.
My selection....I love fruit.
Sigrid loves chocolate.

There is a small stream on the right side of the road.
Complete with fish.
Like so many parts of Germany, this is wine country.
The race track at Nurburg is coming.
