Day 3 was pretty busy with lots of photos so there will be several posting for this day. The Blogger software does a lot better with smaller posts and I suspect it is easier for the viewers to deal with one topic at a time. As we were on our way to a town that we wanted to visit, we stopped to see the Rhine again at a different spot than yesterday. Across the river, you can see some Schloss' (castles) on the hill top and vineyards just above the water. The banks of the Rhine are covered with vineyards and the river is buzzing with activity.
This looks like a relatively new schloss by German standards.....probably only 500 years old.
These are ruins of a much older schloss.
