The answer is lots of people. Our blog was initially designed for friends and family. We thought that a few others might be interested in our travels because they were thinking about their own trips and wanted to get ideas on where to go and what to see. I know that we always watch the travel shows and have even bought books on locations we plan to visit. It helps to have some guidance before you leave on your adventure.
As it turns out, thousands have visited our blog and downloaded photos. The map below shows the location of the most recent 500 visitors to our blog. We didn't pay for a subscription that would have tracked more then 500 so the newest visitor knocks the 500th oldest visitor out of the cue forever. We had more international visitors from South America, Japan, Europe, and Africa at one time but the vast majority of the visitors are from the U. S. and they got bumped out. This map is just a "snapshot" of yesterday's status.
People find our blog via Google Searches or other visitors who pass the blog link along. The Googles pick up on Key Words or just words in titles and in the body of the posting. The most popular postings have been our "Ozark Driving Trip" and the "Air Show at Whiteman AFB". However, all the others get their visits as well. It amazes me to see how many people from all over the world are interested in our adventures. I just thought I would share this with you before I get back to serious Australia/New Zealand posting.
