Peru - Day 12 Part II - The Local Shaman
After returning to the resort, we had lunch before the next adventure.
The resort main building is decorated with signs hanging from the ceiling representing some of the groups who have visited in the past.
A pet parrot kept up a continuous serenade of screeches and other noises.
The group walked to the Shaman's hut.
The Shaman is the doctor for the natives. He uses some of the same local plants on his people that modern medical researchers are just now discovering.
